Speculating Glass Architecture2020
This project considered how  glass as an architectural material provides a lens to explore socio-economic power relations, as well as the politics of transparency within city culture and its strong links with evolving modernity.

Research led to explorations of the panopticon effect of a glass city, and how this development forms a soft surveilence approach to public control. As a response, I created a hat which took into account the above observer, and used a printed image of a Canary Wharf pavement to consider how one may begin to remove thier consent of above surveilence.

The final outcome was an essay summarising the experiments, research and response to glass as a presence in London.
